Why Strength Training Matters More As You Age

Starting around age 30, adults lose roughly 3–8% of their muscle mass per decade if they do nothing to counteract it — a process called sarcopenia. That rate accelerates further after 60. It's one of the quieter drivers of frailty, falls, and loss of independence in older age, and one of the most preventable.
